Microbiology Demystified

This information seminar will be delivered by an experienced Food Safety Auditor and Food Technologist, who is familiar with HACCP based food safety systems, food safety legislation, microbiological testing procedures, industry standards.  The seminar will provide a summary of the information and resources suitable for those with food safety responsibilities relating to microbiological hazards, testing and verification and validation programs.  Participants will be referred to resources and encouraged to source and apply the information to their specific industry sector or business.
Successful completion of the program will result in the participant being issued a Correct Training Systems Certificate of Attendance in “Microbiology Demystified”.  This seminar may contribute to a training program for staff who have responsibilities for food safety and quality management systems.

Course Outline:
This seminar will provide an overview of microbiology, in a practical and informative manner that can be understood by non microbiologists and non food technologists.  Aimed to simplify and show application of microbiology in food safety and food production.
Suitable for those with food safety responsibilities, HACCP team members, quality assurance staff or research and development, who want to comprehend the role, impact and controls and testing regimes required for control of microbial growth in food production.  This half day seminar will give you the opportunity to brush up on the basics of food microbiology.
